Timaru (aka 'The riviera of the south') 'is in a very central location, and is within 1-2 hours of Christchurch, Dunedin, and the Mackenzie country.

Timaru allows easy travelling to the hydro lakes, walks, many different fishing and boating opportunities and sightseeing - particularly at South Canterbury's own Aoraki (Mt Cook - New Zealand's highest mountain), and Lake Tekapo.

Elizabeth Court is very near the centre of Timaru, and is located at 39 Elizabeth Street, just off SH1.
